This confused me because of course we Brits put the day first, not the month (i.e. 09/10/08) For a moment I thought it was my birthday all over again! ;)
Oh boy, this took VERY long for the penny to drop. I thought it was some kind of intelligence test, and I did not have time that day to puzzle over it. So sorry - a belated Happy Birthday! Guess what - yesterday I met the author of the "Tortilla chips" blog entry in person. ;-) The world is small.
Ok, I had to read this three times before I got it. Just kept saying to myself, "What am I missing?" :-))
